just finished working....
today is a day of sorts. i cant quite put in how this day really went for me, whether good or bad, i guess it's a matter of deciding whether id be optimistic or pessimistic.
i woke up with a really bad headache so i decided to call in sick for half the day. i wasnt about to miss working (haha) but really i didnt want to compromise my volume so i forced myself to still go to work. that's after washing the dishes and watering the plants (sheesshhh).
and then something happened at work that made me feel so depressed and insecure. i just kept in mind what Nes told me. all in God's time. and astually, when i think about it, do i really want to do THAT? haha. even if ive secretly been daydreaming and semi-obsessing about it a few days before, ive realized that im much happier with what im doing now. i know this makes no sense to you so ill just skip on to my next thought. :D
i got frustrated with this favor Kit was asking me to do, but really, it wasnt a real hassle i just felt so down so i felt even more harassed. but he made up for it by bringing me some hot chocolate (yum). though i was craving for a King Cone or any ice cream, that was good enough.
Plus, we had cocktails at the pantry today (although it was more of a food fiesta than just cocktails) and i had more than enough share of all the food - and the reusable baunans i kept in my bottom drawer came in real handy. my problem now is how to lug them back home.
anyway, ive managed to do about 6 companies today and i think that's good.
un nga lang kahinayang that i filed for a half day sick leave when in reality ive done a full 8 hours of work. and more. i just think i work better at night. sigh. oh well.
time to go home. i dont even know if there's still an FX going home... but then i love walking at night. cool air. not much people. underneath the stars.

anyway, im still in the ofc, but im due to go in a few minutes. work is ok, got off on a bad start (but it wasnt really THAT bad...) i think sobra kong dinadamdam kapag nakakakuha ako ng lower than usual grade... yuck... OC at kareerin ba? hehehe.
dan sent us an email on volume ranking, with me with the most companies processed. ngyak. di ko akalain. so babagalan ko na gawa... hehehe. akala ko pa naman behind na ko kasi tinatamad ako kaninang umaga. oh well. anyway, ive got a lot to say kaso... im out of time.

1. we have a new pet. Sharkie. actually, Mara and i are still debating on the name. its a fish, just in case you cant tell. we have no idea what to feed her so nagdye-dyeta pa sha ngayon
2. im thinking na on what Mara and I will do on our birthday. sabi ni ryann, tinipid talaga. family planning to the max na nga, magkalapit pa bday namen. hehehe, iba talaga si mama. :D
3. hmmm.... un na lang muna siguro, uwi na kami ni Nes e. :D

harassed

i feel tired and overworked.
and the proxy season has just started.
sabi pa ni lalaine, this morning mega-blooming ako pero pagdating ng hapon wala na. naharass talga.
i had to eat at my space cause i was afraid i wouldnt finish in time kasi i still wanted to go home early :( cheesedog sandwich lang. in fairness, i enjoyed my splurge of the day - the mango melon shake from fruit magic.
speaking of splurges, i splurged more than usual last night. ooopppsss.
i couldn't resist when i passed by this maybelline stall. i fugured i needed to stop cause i had to buy a compact anyway, but i ended up buying 2 others pa. the lady gave me a make-over kasi and i was so happy with the results kaya yun. hehe. cool na ren cause i got a free set of nice brushes. so pwede na.
total damage though... about a thousand... :(
i bought the incredibles vcd too! kaso i dont know if it was a smart buy. at that moment it was though. hehe.
kanina, it was a bit disappointing kasi i thought id double and triple-checked this company that i was doing, but still... hay, some things talaga, kapag namiss mo, mali na... the bad thing is these things have a domino effect. so it's not just one mistake... but 2, 3 or maybe even 4... hayyy. sad.
but over-all i think i did pretty well, considering i started at around 930 and ended just now. 5 companies processed in total. not bad...
hope to improve though. and im praying sooo hard that i do so much better next time.

start na daw ng proxy season - which means peak season, which means panahon na upang seryosohin ang trabaho at career-in ito. hayyy. eto na talaga. and between reviewing for the entrance tests, chores at home, nourishing my relationship with Kit (hehe parang lotion), bonding moments den with my family and the never ending urge to check out stores and make a dent in my "savings", i think i'm in for a really hectic season. e feel ko pang maging mega-performer... hahaha. sayang den kasi yung "prizes", gusto ko ren mafeel yung reward cause i missed on that last year :D gusto ko magkaron ng DVD player o kaya TV. hehehe.
buti na lang i have new set of mp3s. wala lang :D thanks Kit. mwah! it's a mix of the really noisy music (rock, alternative, trance- listening to firstarter right now), the senti oldies (even tracy chapman songs and frank sinatra!), pop and boyband songs, hit songs from when i was in highschool (like TQ, sugar ray and destiny's child), along with some of the latest that ive been meaning to download (usher's caught up, ryan cabrera's true and green day's boulevard of broken dreams)

random thoughts due to boredom

*im here listening to launch cast and i am so bored, i even leafed thru our revised guidelines for work. that's how bored i am, finally turning to work-related activity... sheesshh.
*finally, there's another pleasant face to look at. i think his name is adam and he looks like he's part of a boyband. i had an apple this morning (already ate that big apple btw, and man, my jaws hurt from having to open so wide) and yes, adam, we are meant to be. i am your eve. hahaha. as if.
*panu na daw si shane? hahaha, as if he cares! bwahahah
*WE GOT OUR BONUS!!! and far out, i am sooo riccchhh!!! hahaha. richer than i've ever been anyway. It's the biggest amount to ever grace an account under my name. boy, is it FABULOUS! i've listed out a couple of things im gonna buy, but of course, as always, i wont be able to buy all. (no pc upgrade yet, digicam is negotiable...) i have to set aside a BIG chunk of it for.... grad school!!! yup! but that's another asterisk altogether... anyway, the good thing is ive paid up my credit card and that's one of the important things. and then, ive managed to buy some really nice things without crying over being poor after awhile hehe.
*GRAD SCHOOL!!! i am going to take up masters in marketing in la salle! im not really sure actually if that's the field id really like to get into. But then, i've found two people who'll study the same course with me and i think that's a sign (or maybe peer pressure) but then, Gelo is from Ateneo and Mhes is an officemate, so i guess that's a sign that this is good... well, whatever, basta im excited to hit the books. yuck.nerd. haha.
*i watched So Close last night. coolness! i wish i was a drop dead gorgeous, super hot mama sexiness assassin in real life. with the moves and the smarts and the beauty to boot.
*i watched HomeRun the other night. (yes, my eyebags are sooo getting bigger. both movies started around 11 and finished around 130) it's this Chinese (i think) film about a brother and sister and how a pair of shoes are so important to them. basta sobrang ganda nya and i kept thinking to myself, if ever i was to be a film maker, id like to make movies like that. movies that are simply made yet make you really think about things, about life... basta it's super good. i just googled it (yeah, that's a verb!) it's singaporean pala...

Homerun is a remake of Children of Heaven, the Iranian nominee for Best Foreign Language Film at the 1998 Academy Awards. It is a fable about Ah Kun, a 10-year-old kampung boy, played by Shawn Lee of I Not Stupid, losing his sister Seow Fang's (Megan Zheng) shoes.
They can't afford another. Theirs is a hard-luck family of money no enough, the father (Huang Wenyong) an odd-jobber late with the rent and the mother (Xiang Yun) heavily pregnant.
So they conspire to share his beat-up sneakers, Seow Fang wearing them to school in the morning and then rushing them over to Ah Kun in time for his afternoon classes. En route, they stumble on many a mishap…

it's cute and i loved the child actors. click the link above to see its synopsis... basta it made me think of wanting to buy white sneakers.... kidding!!!
